Comparison

How much work sits between a job post and your first reply?

Manual recruitment prospecting requires someone to find vacancies, qualify companies, identify people, check contact details and manage outreach across tools. RecruitScout automates research and approved outreach around relevant job-portal signals. Your team remains responsible for the sales conversation and the recruitment assignment.

Start with the work you actually do.

  1. Find and assess vacancies. Search boards, notice new roles, compare them with your brief and check whether you already know the company.
  2. Build a route to the person. Find the relevant decision-maker, their company email and LinkedIn profile, then verify what you can.
  3. Prepare the approach. Write a message relevant to that vacancy, place it in a sequence and organise the channel order.
  4. Keep the sequence moving. Watch for replies and failed delivery, track connection requests and remember the follow-ups.
  5. Qualify and win the work. Understand the brief, establish fit and agree the assignment.

Automate the repeatable work. Own the relationship.

RecruitScout combines hiring-signal detection, company targeting, decision-maker discovery and approved email and LinkedIn sequences. It reduces the need to assemble and move prospect lists manually.

The agency controls its targeting, message templates and sequence. Replies come to its inbox. RecruitScout does not conduct your client meeting, negotiate your recruitment terms or place candidates for you.

A fair comparison includes both approaches.

A manual process can suit a small number of carefully selected accounts, especially when each approach needs unusual research. It also makes the workload visible: someone owns every step.

Automation is useful when the same well-defined prospecting process needs to happen consistently across many relevant openings. It still needs a clear target brief and messages worth sending. Contact data can be missing and messages can fail to deliver; automation is not a guarantee of perfect data or inbox placement.

Count time, overlap and missed opportunities.

When comparing options, include the team's research time, the separate tools you use, manual transfers between them and opportunities left untouched during busy delivery periods.

VETA's published case study describes a founder already using a targeted manual process. RecruitScout automated that process; the agency then reported eight search assignments from one new client. The story is a concrete example, not a forecast for every agency.

VETA Ideas

"Before RecruitScout, every new opportunity required hours of work: monitoring job boards, building lists, finding contacts, and moving data between different tools. RecruitScout turned all of this into an automated process and, most importantly, allows us to reach companies before anyone else, when they have an active hiring need. That is how we began working with an international enterprise AI scaleup valued at $2 billion, which immediately engaged us to fill 8 roles across Rome and Milan. This is not just a new client; it is exactly the kind of client we want: organized, fast-moving, and able to provide clear, precise feedback, giving us everything we need to deliver our best work."
